Atkinsons Atkinsons Irish poplin was originally handwoven in the homes of Irish weavers similar to the way Thai silk is woven to this day.

The craft of weaving Atkinsons Irish poplin was handed down from father to son with no outsiders allowed to become apprentices under the laws of the weavers guild.

In 1820 Richard Atkinson, the then Lord Mayor of Dublin, asked a group of weavers to make their Irish poplin for his shop. By 1837 Richard Atkinson's Irish poplin fabric was so popular that Queen Victoria granted Atkinsons a Royal Warrant.

Today's Atkinsons Royal Irish Poplin is a beautiful 50-50 blend of the finest silk and Australian merino wool which is dyed in Scotland. The weaving and finishing is done in Ireland.

Cravats of London Cravats of London is a family business founded in 1952 and all their products are manufactured in their own factory in Chard, Somerset.

They only use pure natural fabrics - Silk, Wool and Silk Wool mix from the finest mills in the UK and Italy. All their Ties, Scarves, Ascots and Bow Ties are made individually to meet their customer requirements.

That is exactly what they have done for A Hume - all these ties have been made on a bespoke basis for us so go ahead and treat yourself today!

Ian Flaherty Founded in 1996, Ian Flaherty London employ a small team of highly-skilled craftsmen and women in their factory studio in London. The designs are recognised as classics and are best-sellers across the globe.

The cufflinks themselves are entirely hand-made: the master design is turned in to a mould and the cufflinks cast in pure Pewter. This is then dipped twice in Rhodium, a Platinum derivative and precious metal. The cufflinks are then polished before being hand-enamelled or inset with Swarovski crystal, polished again and individually inspected for any flaws.
