Archie Hume and ladieswear buyer, Vanessa Murray have just returned from a highly successful trip to London, buying for Spring/Summer 2015.
Vanessa has worked wonders with ladieswear in the past couple of years, she has expanded the range introducing some really exciting brands that ooze quality and elegance such as the exquisite tailored shirts and suede jackets from Anna Lascata and this season’s newcomers Fairfax and Favor, creators of the world’s most covetable boots, which have been flying out the door like hot cakes since they arrived.
Continuing her winning streak she returned to Kelso from Pure having discovered two more exceptional brands to add to the ladieswear collection for Spring Summer 2015.
Elia B began life in 2010 as Just Ballerinas, focusing on beautiful ballerina flats and quickly establishing a devoted following. A couple of years on they rebranded as Elia B allowing them to expand their range to include classic loafers and boots.
Elia B now create classic shoes and boots with a modern touch, believing that the most prized styles are the ones we come back to time and time again. They stylishly rework footwear classics with contemporary details creating original, fashion-forward pieces that are the perfect compliment to the A Hume Ladieswear collection for SS15.
We’re also delighted to welcome Modalu handbags to A Hume Ladieswear, a brand made deservedly famous by the patronage of Pippa Middleton.
Modalu excel at re-imagining classic styles using the highest quality materials, colours and craftsmanship and have graciously acknowledged the contribution of their celebrity muse by naming a collection of elegantly styled handbags after her.
We are expecting our first consignment in shops and online ahead of Christmas – so not too long to wait and a definite for Christmas lists. Sorry to mention Christmas so early, however we make no apologies for mentioning our Modalu handbags.

It may seem a little hard for Archie to compete with all this ladieswear loot in the swag bag but Archie is undaunted and equally excited about the success of his London menswear buying mission for Spring Summer 2015.
