We are often asked questions about the various Dubarry boot styles so thought it would be a good idea to detail the main points relating to each style to help explain the differences. The Galway Boot is the Dubarry classic style and is fully Gore-Tex lined, waterproof, breathable and constructed from Dubarry dry-soft leathers. With it's combination of smooth and crushed leather, it is an ideal boot for outdoor wear. The Galway has a finger pull fitted inside the boot and a wide entry for ease of fit.

 

The sole is directly moulded to the boot, with no glueing or stitching, giving a perfect seal to keep out the water. Dubarry also use a special process which combines soft supple leather with a GORE-TEX lining resulting in fully waterproof and breathable boots.

 

The Galway Boot comes in half sizes from 3 - 13 and is available in colours Black Mahogany, Brown Mahogany, Walnut and all Black.

The Clare Boot is fully Gore-Tex lined, waterproof, breathable and constructed from Dubarry dry-soft leathers. The Clare is built on a sole with more heel depth than the other Dubarry styles and has a special Dubarry tread on the toe. The Clare has a little more calf profiling than the Galway boot and has a gusseted zip in the rear ankle/calf section and a smooth wear protection pad on the inside leg. This makes the Clare Boot suitable for riding but they are only recommended for occasional light riding out. The Clare is around 1" shorter in height than the Galway.

 

The Clare is the only Dubarry boot that comes in European sizes - from Size EU37 -EU47 and is available in colours Black, Brown Mahogany and Walnut.

The Wexford Boot is a fully Gore-tex lined, completely waterproof and breathable boot made from specially treated water resistant leathers. It is built on a thicker sole than other Boots in the Dubarry range, offering a more substantial heel and deeper tread.

 

A heavy duty zip with button fastened top lies over a gusset to ensure that water does not pass through to the leg. In addition, the "harder" leather extends further up the leg to offer extra protection over the heel and ankle areas for rougher use in harsher environments.

 

The Wexford is an ideal performance Boot and comes in half sizes from Size 4 -12 and is available in the colour Walnut only.

The Kildare Boot is a fully Gore-Tex lined, waterproof, breathable Boot constructed from Dubarry dry-soft leathers. It is a versatile calf height all round boot and has a lycra stretch adjustable leg top and wide entry for ease of fit.

 

The Kildare Boot comes in half sizes from Size 3 - 13 and is available in colours Brown Mahogany and Walnut.

The Tipperary Boot  is a fully Gore-Tex lined, waterproof, breathable Boot constructed from Dubarry dry-soft leathers. This mid height boot has an adjustable side buckle fastening with a Lycra insert for a secure and snug fit. In addition, the Boot has a finger pull fitted inside the bootleg for ease of entry.

 

The Tipperary Boot comes in half sizes from Size 3 - 13 and is available in the colour Brown Mahogany and Walnut.    

 

The Kilternan Boot is the  newest addition to the the Dubarry  collection and is an Apres Ski boot based on the classic  Galway with extra performance features. The Kilternan is GORE-TEX®  Partelana lined and benefits from four times more heat retention than Dubarry's  standard GORE-TEX® lining. The boots are made from DryFast-DrySoft, waterproof  and breathable leather.
   
The Boot benefits from a genuine "shearling  fleece" cuff and Partelana lining which goes down to the ankle,  providing extra warmth as well as preventing snow and ice entering the boot.  The footbed is made up of three layers including a thermal foil lining to  protect the foot from cold. Finger pull fitted inside boot and wide entry for  ease of fit.

The Kilternan Boot comes in half  sizes from 3 - 12 and is available in colours Walnut and Black.
