Bit of a local one, today we want to give a big push to the Pharlanne Deli /Ednam House Hotel Gingerbread House competition in aid of Children 1st.  What a happy collision of good fun and goodwill it is!

Don’t think you’ve heard of Children 1st? Oh yes, you have. Children 1st is the new name for Royal Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Chilren (RSSPCC). Charities don’t come much bigger, or worthier than this and if you aren’t prepared to dig deep for Children 1st – well, what can we say….

Even the most simple style looks magical.

So fill your home with the smell of spice, don’t be intimated, you don’t have to be a domestic god, or goddess to pull this one off, just think of it as edible Lego and if it all goes horribly wrong you can always eat it!
