With only a short time until Wimbledon we look at what to wear to the most anticipated tennis event of the year.
Smart, Simple Comfort and Style
The perfect outfit for a relaxed visit to Wimbledon- the Barbour sun hat offers chic protection from sun and drizzle (though not recommended for a downpour) whilst the gorgeous Malahide Jacket from Dubarry smartens up the summery NYDJ ankle jeans and the Dubarry Tuskar. Comfy, chic feet come courtesy of Elia B’s Soft Driving Shoes and there’s plenty of room for picnic and souvenirs in the A Hume Amelia Shopper.
Centre Court Chic
This outfit is perfect for the smartest hospitality Wimbledon has to offer. The elegant crisp lines of the tailored Grace Jacket by Anna Lascata set the tone, softened by the floral print blouse by NYDJ and pale Dubarry Sunflower skirt. Chic, little ballerina flats by Elia B tick the comfort box, whilst the Modalu Pippa grab bag keeps things smart and organised.
Last year the All England Tennis Club relaxed the men’s dress code for even the most expensive seats at Wimbledon but making an effort is still appreciated and a gentleman will always look good on Centre Court in summer tweed. The tweed above is the Hevingham jacket by Bladen, worn with Barbour Burdale Shirt, RM Williams Stradbroke Trousers and Loake Treviso loafers.
This outfit has a relaxed, sporty feel that’s entirely appropriate to the event. Anyone wearing this combo of Gant Breton Rugger, RMW moleskins, cap and deck shoes wouldn’t look out of place in the Player’s box alongside the top coaches.
