We are delighted to bring to you various appointments at Humes Outfitters. You may already be aware that we offer bespoke Made to Measure Tailoring and Formalwear and Kilt Hire. Now you can book online simply and easily below. Our newest appointments include a Private Shopping Experience out of hours and Personal Outfitting Appointments, both in store and virtually during normal opening times.
Made to Measure Tailoring
We offer a full made to measure service on-site for those looking for something a little special both in terms of finish, style and fit. With kilts and trews available in over 500 tartans and sports jackets, 2-piece and 3-piece suits available in the finest cloths, this unique investment results in something that is completely bespoke to you. We advise allowing eight weeks and encourage a fitting half way through the process and then a final fitting at the time of completion. Formal Wear and Kilt Hire
Whether you are off to a black tie dinner or getting prepared to say "I Do" with your bridal party, there is something to suit every style and occasion. In our comfortable and private Made to Measure Suite, you and your party will be welcomed with complimentary refreshments, as we invite you to relax and enjoy the experience of choosing your hire and exploring all the options we have to offer. Exclusive Private Shopping Experience
Enjoy an exclusive out of hours shopping experience at Humes Outfitters, with access to our flagship menswear store and ladies store. You and your party will be able to shop in private, in a relaxed environment, with refreshments and the full attention of our retail team.
Personal Outfitting Appointment
Whether you are looking for something for a specific event, looking to overhaul your wardrobe or are simply looking to embrace British country style, our trusty retail advisor will be there to lend a helping hand, inspire and give you a one-to-one outfitting experience.
Virtual Outfitting Appointment
Take a (virtual) walk around our stores, ask questions on products and sizing, or pull your outfit together all from the comfort of your own home. With their extensive product knowledge our retail team will be happy to discuss all things country style in your appointment.
What to expect at your appointment
Once you have booked your appointment date and time you will receive a short confirmation email. 48 hours before your appointment we will be in touch asking you to complete a short questionnaire that will help us better prepare for your arrival. You will then receive an appointment reminder 24 hours before.
On the day of your appointment please arrive just on time, your Outfitter will be ready for you.
Made to Measure Tailoring - For our Made to Measure service you will be taken to our Made to Measure suite where you and your Outfitter will discuss what you are looking for in detail, discussing styles, fits, and fabrics. You will then be measured in a private setting. We advise allowing 8 weeks for your made to measure, and you will be invited back half-way through the process for a check in and then a final fitting once your bespoke outfit is ready.
Formalwear and Kilt Hire - You and your party will be invited into our Made to Measure suite where you and your Outfitter will discuss in detail the hire options and what you are looking for. Each individual will then be measured and you will be phoned to let you know when your hire has arrived in store. You can then easily drop them off once your event is finished.
Virtual Outfitting - When you receive your pre-appointment email you will be asked how you wish to video call. Options include Facetime, Whatsapp, Facebook Video Call, Zoom or Teams. If you choose Facetime, Whatsapp or Facebook we will use the phone number you submitted to call you, if you chose Zoom or Teams your Outfitter will be in touch before your appointment with a meeting link.
