Deliveries to Europe

Deliveries to Europe are currently being shipped via UPS with our sister company, William Lockie & Co. You will still receive an email from us with your tracking link and your parcel will be tracked up to the point of delivery.

Following Brexit, orders being purchased and shipped to European countries are now processed excluding the 20% UK VAT. However, dependent on purchase value, your order will subject to a tiered charging system for local VAT, import duties and delivery handling charges. 

Calculating your order value
For the purposes of the local VAT and import duties calculation, the EU define the total order value as the sum of:

1. The cost of the items purchased.

2. The fee charged by the courier company (approximately £15), not the delivery charge you pay with your order.

3. The sum 1 + 2 will then be converted from GBP to Euro. The currency conversion rate is defined by the EU customs clearance house. 


Calculating your import VAT + duties based on order value
€0 - €22 orders are VAT free and import duty free. They may still be subject to a delivery agent handling fee.

€23 - €150  orders will incur a local rate VAT charge (based on the location of the customs clearance house) and a delivery agent handling fee.

€151+ orders will incur a import duty charge (normally 10% of the order value), a local VAT charge (applied to the combined cost of your order value + import duty charge) and a delivery agent handling fee.

Order Value: £187.50
Shipping Fee: £15.00
Total GBP: 202.50
Total Euro: €230.85

Import duties (10%): €23.09
Local VAT (21%):  €48.48
Courier handling fee: €6.05 (average fee we have seen)

Total VAT + Duties Due: €77.61

Purchase of a pair of RM Williams Comfort Craftsman Boots. UK RRP £375

Order Value: £312.50
Shipping Fee: £15.00
Total GBP: £327.50
Total Euro: €373.35

Import duties (10%): €37.34
Local VAT (21%):  €78.40
Courier handling fee: €6.05 (average fee we have seen)

Total VAT + Duties Due: €121.79
