I have two pairs of rm Williams both with the comfort rubber sole. I decided on the leather sole option in suede. The suede was of a good not great quality as the nap was longer in places. The leather sole is flexible and only time will tell if it is of high quality. One of the big differences between the comfort and classic versions is the insole. The comfort has that fixed cushioned insole and the classic has the traditional leather insole. I prefer the leather insole as I do worry about the longevity of the cushioned insole. For first timers I would recommend the comfort over the classic as it can be worn all year round. One negative point is the heel. For a boot with a 270 degree welt they could have made the width of the heel more narrow as it extends past the boot too much in my opinion.
I have about 8-10 pairs of R M W boots rarely wear anything else.Quality Supreme It is like putting your foot in to a perfectly fitting glove.... wonderful
RM Williams håller genomgående hög kvalitet!
This is my second pair and I'd like at least one more. Very well made and super comfortable.

Good fit and good price. Much softer to wear then the classic yearling boot. If you have heel-squeak on polished floors, just have your cobbler sand down the rubber and you are squeak-free!!
Beautiful boots of excellent quality.
beautiful boots that fit excellent and came in plenty of time
I always by RMs boots for Ed, they're expensive yes but they last more than a lifetime. He wouldn't wear any other boots now.
